FREEDOM IN MOVEMENT… and a Gen Z marketing strategy over mooncakes?!?

Systema is a very broad martial art that can be very difficult to categorize. One thing that stands out in our training is the emphasis on freedom - both in the body and therefore in the mind. Specifically meant to loosen you from the grip of rigid movement patterns and structures, the training process is a lot of “trust the process”.

But don’t worry, it’s also a lot of “enjoy the process” as well! If you have any questions, feel free to drop us a message and we will do our best to reply you!

Fun Saturdays with the crew! Welcoming back @systema_nishi and @adyasadanand from Summer Camp with @systemavasiliev!

This period also marks a new inflection point in Systema Singapore’s history with many exciting things lined up!

We will soon be moving to a new permanent space shared with fiber artists. As we believe that Systema has a huge relationship to self understanding and expression, the chance to work with artists is a natural fit for our club. Look out for more info soon!

This also gives us the possibility to plan for new types of training formats and events - so be on a lookout for that!

A big thank you to @systema_osaka for the wonderful seminar and training in Singapore over the last weekend! The topic and sharing felt extremely catered to our group and gave us so much to unpack and to develop our Systema with.

We wholeheartedly recommend training with Ryo - his selfless sharing and approachability means that he gives every participant ample opportunity to grapple with the concepts he is presenting which allows them to truly make it their own. We look forward to seeing how far we can take our learnings! To the next time we meet!

MOSCOW 2024

Aleksandr Andreichenkov’s movements feel very light and soft but their effects are full of power and have a quality of “completeness” that seldom can be experienced. As one of Mikhail’s top students, his depth of knowledge is very profound but due to the fact he does not speak English, it is difficult for him to convey it.

One intriguing fact that few people are aware of about Aleksandr is that both of his Achilles tendons were burnt off in an electrical accident many years ago - so he actually does not have full utility of his feet.
